The Hydra features a long conical head that leads into a segmented shaft with a smooth channel running up the front from base to tip. The shaft segments are lightly textured on the front with bumpy nodules. The shaft ends in a pseudo-knot with a short and narrow segment of shaft between the knot and the base. The base is lightly textured and designed to look similar to a reptilian vent.

			Weredog offers both a Signature Color and Custom Color option when ordering the Hydra. Hydra's signature is a sea-foam tip that fades into an ice blue shaft with a solid red base. Selecting the Custom Color option will display a Style selector with four color styles available: Solid, Split Base, Marble and Swirl. Selecting a style will display color swatches for the number of colors the style supports.

			Selecting Hydra's Signature color changes the available firmness options, replacing Extra-Soft and Soft with split firmness options, where the shaft is in Extra-Soft or Soft but the base is always in Medium firmness.
