The Sausage Roll is a food themed April Fools Day penetrable by Weredog. The Sausage Roll features a realistic puff pastry, sausage stuffed hand pie design. The exterior closely mimics the shape and texture of two puff pastry sheets pressed and baked together, complete with baking slashes across the top. Inside, a straight through tunnel runs the length of the body with an irregular texture covering the inside walls. A cross sectional view of Creature is available on the store page.
This April Fools Day item is a reference to the internationally enjoyed food dish by the same name. Commonly attributed to British cuisine, the dish consists of sausage meat, cased or uncased, wrapped in a puff pastry that's been brushed with milk and egg. Weredog's model most closely resembles the sausage rolls produced by Greggs, a British bakery chain.
